Avid hiker, nature enthusiast, food grower, animal lover, aspiring photographer, Pink Floyd addict, veggie eater, pottery maker, and holistic designer.

I'm Gilda and I’ve been working in architecture for over 20 years in large and small-scale projects specializing in luxury hotels, mixed-use, residential, schools, and currently projects like yours.

Having previously worked for big and small companies in Barcelona and London, I decided to embark on my independent journey in 2014 founding Metre Squared Architecture, focusing on domestic extensions and refurbishment.  I will never regret making this life-changing decision!

I have a wealth of knowledge to share and love helping my clients create the house of their dreams through the process of design and space planning.  I’m committed to creating sustainable, contemporary, and well-crafted architecture.    I believe that light and design are the key factors to achieving well-planned spaces that allow people to live in great comfort and happiness.

I strive to understand your needs and bring my best inspiration to make your project a progressive, simple, and well-thought-out architecture.

Metre Squared Architecture is a team of two energetic and creative women.  If you decide to work with us, you will also have the joy of working with Ana who also brings knowledge and support at our preparation stage.

Ana and I have a lot in common. Not only is she an architect but also a gardener, lover of nature, and Pink Floyd fan.  She enjoys travel and loves playing the guitar and piano.
